The 2024 S&E Trust travel grant funding round is now closed. The grant may be used to attend an international meeting or workshop; to present at an international meeting or workshop; visit international institutions; undertake data collection or use equipment not available at your institution. Grants may be used for travel, meeting registration and accommodation costs, however other incidentals will not be included. Applications for grants to attend international meetings which also include brief (1-2 day) site visits to overseas laboratories for collaborative exchange will be viewed positively.
We also accept applications for retrospective funding for attendance at international meetings which have been held this calendar year (from January to the close of applications on 30 April). However, retrospective funding will only be considered for applicable expenses which have already been paid by you and for which you had no other funding source.
In 2024 there is a total of Aus$16,000 available for travel/conference grants. Applications to attend the ISTH Congress in Montréal are particularly encouraged.
